Symptoms
The Change Data Capture functionfn_cdc_get_net_changes_capture_instance incorrectly returns delete and update operation rows for an update operation in SQL Server 2014 or 2016.
Note The expected behavior is that it should only return update operation rows for the update operation.
Resolution
This problem is fixed in the following cumulative updates for SQL Server:
Cumulative Update 2 for SQL Server 2014 Service Pack 2
Cumulative Update 8 for SQL Server 2014 Service Pack 1
Cumulative Update 2 for SQL Server 2016
