Description The Phonetics field is used only in the Japanese version of Microsoft Office Project. It contains phonetic information in either Hiragana or Katakana for resource names.
How Calculated When you enter a resource name, Project enters an undetermined character string from the Input Method Editor (IME) into the Phonetics field. You can also enter phonetic information yourself.
Best Uses Add the Phonetics field to a resource sheet when you want to display, filter, or edit phonetic information for resource names. You can use the Phonetics field to provide for proper sorting and pronunciation.
