Symptoms
In Microsoft Exchange Server 2016, you might notice there are many Watson reports for the StoragePermanentException error. Here is one example of the Watson reports:

Resolution
To fix this issue, install Cumulative Update 8 for Exchange Server 2016 or a later cumulative update for Exchange Server 2016.
