Symptoms
DRDA Service fails to process SELECT FROM FINAL TABLE (INSERT INTO) statement and returns the following error:
<alias.column_name> is an undefined name.
Cause
DRDA service SQL command text parser cannot convert from DB2 syntax (SELECT FROM FINAL TABLE(INSERT INTO)) to SQL syntax.
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
Resolution
This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for Host Integration Server:
