Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have a Windows 7-based computer that is connected to one or more touch screens.

  • You put the computer into sleep or into hibernation.

  • You resume the computer.

In this scenario, one or more of the touch screens do not work correctly. This may include the following symptoms:

  • On a system that has two touch screens and no keyboard, touching the keyboard screen causes the mouse to move on the other screen, rather than on the keyboard screen.

  • The mouse cursor does not change from the mouse cursor to a dot cursor when you touch the screen.

Workaround

To work around this issue, restart the computer.
