Description of the Microsoft Windows Registry On This PageSYMPTOMS If you use a custom Component Object Model (COM) add-in
with Microsoft Outlook, after you start Outlook, the add-in may not load or
work correctly. CAUSE This problem may occur if another process, such as
Microsoft ActiveSync version 3.5, starts Outlook but does not display any
Outlook user interface. If this occurs and you then start Outlook as you
typically do, Outlook does not load any COM add-ins. RESOLUTIONService Pack InformationThis problem is corrected in Microsoft Office XP Service Pack 3.To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office XP. the COM add-in so that it loads, it is not trusted in the Outlook 10 Security
Settings folder.
