OLEXP: Outlook Express May Not Disconnect After Sending and Receiving

SYMPTOMS

After you enable the "Hang up after sending and receiving" feature in Outlook Express 5, you may not be disconnected from the Internet after you finish sending or receiving e-mail.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you click to select the "Hang up after sending and receiving" check box during an active connection to the Internet.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, click to select the Hang up after sending and receiving check box before you connect to the Internet.

To work around this issue, close your current connection to the Internet, quit Outlook Express 5, and then establish your connection again.
