When you connect to the Windows Update Web site, the content of the site may appear in a language other than the language of your browser and operating system.
For example, although your browser and operating system are set for English, the Windows Update Web site content may appear in French.
CAUSE
This behavior may occur if the language configured in the Accept option of your browser
is different from the language configured for your browser and operating system.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, change the preferred language in your browser to the language you want to use to view the Windows Update Web site:
In Internet Explorer 5.0, open Internet Explorer, click View, click Encoding, and then click the encoding option that corresponds to the preferred language for Internet Explorer (for example, for English select Western European Windows). STATUS
This behavior is by design. | Article Translations
