Article ID: 243551 - Last Review: February 21, 2007 - Revision: 4.3 Terminal Services Fields Are Not Duplicated When Copying an Existing UserThis article was previously published under Q243551 SYMPTOMS
When you select and copy an existing user in the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in, Terminal Services fields (such as the Terminal Services profile path and home directory) are not copied to the new user account.
RESOLUTION
You can set Terminal Services user properties programmatically by using the Terminal Services Application Programming Interface (API). The WTS_CONFIG_CLASS enumeration type contains values that indicate the type of user configuration information to set or retrieve in a call to the WTSQueryUserConfig and WTSSetUserConfig functions. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
