Windows Update Web Page Is Displayed in Wrong Language

SYMPTOMS

When you view the following Windows Update Web site, the Web page may be displayed in an incorrect language:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com)

CAUSE

This issue can occur if your Regional Settings are set to use an incorrect language. The Windows Update Web site queries the operating system to determine which language to use when displaying the Windows Update Web page, and then displays the currently selected language.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, change your Regional Settings:
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Regional Settings.
  2. Choose the appropriate language setting, and then click OK.
  3. Restart your computer.
