MORE INFORMATION
Windows Millennium upgrades the device driver for the camera to the Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) driver provided by Intel. WIA is a new architecture that permits imaging devices such as scanners and cameras to communicate with imaging applications such as Microsoft Picture It! 2000 or Kodak Imaging. For more details about WIA and a list of supported WIA devices, visit the following Web site:

WIA drivers permit the device to appear both under My Computer and in the Scanners and Cameras folder located in Control Panel.
