The "Most Recently Used" feature does not retain encoding options on the Encoding menu in Outlook Express

SYMPTOMS

When you select more than one type of encoding in an Outlook Express 6 e-mail message, the most recently used (MRU) feature does not retain the list that was selected when you quit and then restart Outlook Express. Only two encoding options appear: the option you have currently selected and the option that is set as the default.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
