Summary

The Microsoft Outlook Team Folders Kit has been discontinued.

More information

The Microsoft Outlook Team Folders kit was released September 1999, following the release of Microsoft Outlook 2000. The Microsoft Outlook Team Folders kit was removed from the Microsoft Download Center because of security vulnerabilities in the Microsoft Outlook View Control update that was released in Microsoft Outlook 2002.

A new version of the Microsoft Outlook Team Folders kit will not be released, and support for the Microsoft Outlook Team Folders kit will be limited to the existing Microsoft Outlook Team Folders kit articles that are available in the Microsoft Knowledge Base. All the most important features that are provided in the Microsoft Outlook Team Folders kit are now better served by Microsoft SharePoint Team Services.
