You cannot clear or select the "Ask me before synchronizing the items" check box for Offline Files on Windows XP or on Windows 2000Article ID: 842222 - View products that this article applies to. be able to clear or to select this check box. Additionally, if you have the Group
Policy setting Synchronize all offline items before logging off turned
on, the Ask me before synchronizing the items check box may be
cleared when you view the Synchronization Settings dialog box for an offline folder. This behavior occurs when you use an administrator account to log on to a computer that is running Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft Windows 2000. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationWindows XPA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
