The attendee list contains incorrect names for an Exchange 2000 Server meeting when a delegate views the attendee list with a WebDAV client

Consider the following scenario. You send a meeting request to a user who has designated a delegate for the calendar in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. Then, the delegate uses a Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) client to view the attendee list.

In this scenario, the attendee list contains the name of the delegate instead of the name of the user to whom you sent the meeting request.

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

Because of file dependencies, this update requires Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 4 (SP4).
