CAUSE

The behavior may occur if the DesktopStandard SoftGrid Client system and the Sequencer station have different versions of Windows Installer installed.

To work around this behavior, include the Windows Installer files that are on the Sequencer station in the sequence. By default, the Sequencer adds the files. However, the user who performs the sequence can decide not to add them.

By default, when the Installation wizard displays the Additional Files to Map to the VFS page, the Add the following files to the VFS option is selected. The following files are listed:

%SystemRoot%\System32\Cabinet.dll
%SystemRoot%\System32\Msi.dll
%SystemRoot%\System32\Msiexec.exe
%SystemRoot%\System32\Msihnd.dll
%SystemRoot%\System32\Msimsg.dll

When the sequence is complete, the files are located in the Package Root Directory\VFS\CSIDL_SYSTEM folder. You can review the files on the Virtual Files System tab.
