This error impacts the following settings: Software Restriction Policies Software Restriction Policies/Security Levels Software Restriction Policies/Additional Rules The following errors apply to all of the above settings: An unknown error occurred while data was gathered for this extension. Details: Unable to cast object of type 'System.String[]' to type 'Microsoft.GroupPolicy.Reporting.Extensions.Registry.UnknownType'. CAUSEThis issue occurs because GPMC reporting uses an incorrect function to retrieve the value of a registry entry that has the multiple string type. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
