Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft Office Outlook 2007. This update provides the latest fixes for Outlook 2007. Additionally, this update contains stability and performance improvements.
Issues that this update fixes
- When you connect to the Microsoft Office 365 Exchange Online service, Outlook 2007 enters a disconnected state because the password is expired. However, you do not receive a notification that the password is expired.
After you install this hotfix, a dialog box appears if the password is expired. The dialog box directs you to a site where you can change your password. - Assume that Outlook 2007 is displayed in a right-to-left language, such as Arabic or Hebrew. You press the Ctrl key, and then right-click the Outlook icon in the notification area, and then click Connection Status. In this situation, the content is not displayed as expected in the Microsoft Exchange Connection Status dialog box.

- Click Start, and then click Run.
- Type Appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.
- Use one of the following procedures, depending on the operating system that you are running.
- Windows 7 and Windows Vista
- Click View installed updates.
- In the list of updates, locate and click update 2687404, and then click Uninstall.
- Windows XP
- Click to select the Show updates check box.
- In the list of updates, locate and click update 2687404, and then click Remove.
