Latest updates for versions of Office that use Windows Installer (MSI)
This article describes update KB2899493 for Microsoft Office 2013 that was released on November 11, 2014. This update also applies to Office Home and Student 2013 RT.
Please be aware that the update in Download Center applies to the Microsoft Installer (.msi)-based edition of Office 2013. It does not apply to the Office 2013 Click-to-Run editions such as Microsoft Office 365 Home. (How to determine?).
Fixes and Improvements
Fixes the following issues:

Assume that you have an inkjet printer that is out of ink or has low ink. When you try to print a document by using the printer from an Office 2013 application, you may receive a "Toner Low" or "No Toner" error message. The error message is confusing, because an inkjet printer does not use toner.

Outlook may be unable to download the Offline Address Book (OAB) if Outlook uses non-interactive authentication to connect to an Exchange server.
Improves the file-syncing ability and the Telemetry logging feature.
Improves the Document Inspector so that it covers more hidden and personal information in an Office document.
Improves localization in multiple languages to make sure that the meanings are accurate.
Improves the performance of the Office 2013 applications by adding the graphics drivers to the block list if they cause an Office application to crash frequently.
Note You can disable this improvement by following the instructions in the "Registry information" section.

How to determine if my Office installation is Click-to-Run or MSI-based:

Start an Office 2013 application, such as Word 2013.

On the File menu, click Account.

For Office 2013 Click-to-Run installations, an Update Options item is displayed. For MSI-based installations, the Update Options item is not displayed.
