INTRODUCTION

Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2010. This update provides the latest fix for the 32-bit and 64-bit editions of SharePoint Designer 2010. Additionally, this update contains stability and performance improvements. 

Issue that this update fixes

  • You cannot use SharePoint Designer 2010 to create a workflow on a SharePoint 2013 mode site collection.

  1. Click Start, and then click Run.

  2. Type Appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.

  3. Use one of the following procedures, depending on the operating system that you are running.

    • Windows 7 and Windows Vista

      1. Click View installed updates.

      2. In the list of updates, locate and click update 2553382, and then click Uninstall.

    • Windows XP

      1. Click to select the Show updates check box.

      2. In the list of updates, locate and click update 2553382, and then click Remove.
