Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You install Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010 on a computer.

  • You configure the value of the Release Indicator (UNA4) property in the Charset and Separators settings for outgoing messages from a certain sender to a question mark (?).

  • You configure the value of the Repetition Separator (UNA5) property in the Charset and Separators settings for outgoing messages from the sender to a blank space.

  • The sender sends some batched interchanges by using the EdiSend pipeline in BizTalk server.

In this scenario, a question mark is displayed before every blank space in the batched interchanges.Note This issue does not occur in unbatched interchanges.

Resolution
