Symptoms
You turn off the "Catch weight" option in System Configuration. To do this, you click Process Distribution, and then you click to clear the Catch weight check box. Then, you synchronize the configuration and restart Dynamics AX 2009. When you create a new batch order, the batch order is created as expected. However, you experience the following stack trace error:

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply this hotfix.

Validation of the application hotfix installation
To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method name that contains the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can crosscheck the affected objects by comparing the KBxxxxxx.txt file to the objects in the AOT. In this manner, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.Note KBxxxxxx.txt is a placeholder for the KB article number of the installed hotfix.
