Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
-
You hide a user's mailbox from the Exchange address lists in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 environment.
-
The user has a manager in the organization.
-
You use Outlook Web App (OWA) to view the Organization information about the user's manager in the address book.
In this scenario, the hidden user is still displayed in Direct Reports of the manager in the address book.
Cause
This issue occurs because the HiddenFromAddressListsValue property of the hidden user is not passed when the Exchange server generates the Active Directory session Read Recipient filter for Direct Report View and Distribution Group View.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:
2661854 Description of Update Rollup 2 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 2
