Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
-
You deploy a BizTalk orchestration in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010.
-
You create a BizTalk host, and then bind the orchestration to this BizTalk host.
Note No adapters or ports are bound to this BizTalk host. -
You process some data through the orchestration.
In this scenario, the performance counters that are located in the BizTalk:Message Agent category of the BizTalk host are not updated.
Cause
By default, the Show performance counters for setting in Host Settings is set to Messaging in BizTalk Server 2010. Whereas by default in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2009 and in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2, performance counter information is dynamically generated and displayed.
Resolution
