This article describes the Microsoft Access 2010 issue that is fixed in the hotfix package that is dated April 9, 2013.

INTRODUCTION

Issue that this hotfix package fixes

Assume that the Content Type column is displayed in a SharePoint 2010 document library. Additionally, assume that you click the Export to Excel button to export a workbook in the library to Microsoft Excel. When you open the exported workbook in Excel 2010, the Content Type column is not displayed in the workbook.Note If you open the workbook in Excel 2007, the Content Type column is displayed in the workbook.
