Symptoms
When straight line life remaining depreciation for a fixed asset is used in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, the depreciation basis for the depreciation of the fixed asset may incorrectly be calculated for the current period.For example, a write-up adjustment, a write-down adjustment, or some other adjustment is made. This adjustment has a recorded date that is earlier than the depreciation basis date. When the depreciation basis for the fixed asset depreciation is calculated for the current period, the adjustment is not included.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, install the cumulative update or the hotfix.

Restart requirement
You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply this hotfix.
