INTRODUCTION

This article describes that a country-specific update is available to add a new field for large taxpayer unit (LTU) in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 with the India localization layer installed.

The Large taxpayer unit (LTU) code field is added under the Excise field group for LTU in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 with the India localization layer installed. The Large taxpayer unit (LTU) code field is not a mandatory field. Additionally, this field can contain up to 20 digits that can belong to alpha, numeric and other special characters.After you post a sales invoice, when you print and view the sales invoice, you can view the LTU code on the sales invoice. After you apply this update, you can view the Large taxpayer unit (LTU) code field under the Exercise field group in the following location:

General ledger>Setup>Organization>Legal entities>Addresses>Tax information>Manage Address>Tax information

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply this hotfix.

The Hindi version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
