Introduction

Assume that you right-click a user who is configured as your delegate in the Groups section of the main Microsoft Lync 2013 UI. In this situation, the Remove from groupĀ option is missing.

The Remove from groupĀ option severs the relationship between the manager and the delegate. The option applies only to users who are not Enterprise Voice-enabled. When this option is used to remove a delegate from a group, the delegate is informed by a notification in the main Lync 2013 contact list UI. If the manager has call forwarding settings configured, the delegate is removed from the manager's delegate list. If the delegate and the manager are not Enterprise Voice-enabled users, the delegate has no management rights to the manager's calls.To add this option, install the following cumulative update:

  1. Open Lync Options, click Call Forwarding tab, and then click Edit my delegate members.

  2. Select the name of a delegate, and then click Remove.

Note This is the recommended method for Enterprise Voice-enabled users to remove delegates.
