Applies ToMicrosoft SharePoint Foundation 2010

Note We have released a revised package 2817540 for this June cumulative update.

Summary

This article describes the Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010 issues that are fixed in the hotfix package that is dated June 11, 2013.

INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • When a SharePoint Server 2010 website uses the German UI, the Cancel button is not localized to German.

  • Assume that you configure key filters in a list that contains more than 5,000 items. In this situation, you may receive the following error message when you view the filter result:

    Expectation from: HRESULT: 0x80131904.

  • Assume that you use Microsoft SharePoint Designer to create a Custom Form for a Calendar list, and then you set it as the default new item form. You create a new reoccurring event, and select a month later than the current month as the "End Month." In this situation, the recurring event does not appear for later months when you browse the Calendar.

  • Assume that you upload a file to a SharePoint Server 2010 document library. You do this by using Windows Explorer, which in turn uses the WebDAV protocol to connect to a WebDAV folder. In this situation, the "Modified" date in Windows Explorer is not changed to reflect the actual modified time on the server.

  • The SharePoint Configuration database transaction log becomes full because of millions of records in the TimerJobHistory table being cleared when the "Delete Job History" job runs. This may cause the site and SQL Server to stop working.

  • Assume that a SharePoint Server 2010 website uses Portuguese. When you try to write more than 200 characters in a Note field, you receive the following error message, which contains incorrect wording:

Esta campo não poder mais de 255 caracteres.

The correct error message should be:

Este campo não pode conter mais de 255 caracteres.

  • When you apply Markup Styles in the Rich Text Editor of a publishing webpage by using Windows Internet Explorer 9, the scroll bar jumps to the top of the webpage unexpectedly.

  • SharePoint Server 2010 cannot create a new Site if the service account is not in the local Administrator group. Additionally, the following error message is received:

    Unknown SPRequest error occurred: 0x80070005.

  • End-users cannot create custom list views through the Web Part in SharePoint Server 2010 because the AddListItem permission is required. Therefore, the end-user receives an "Access Denied" error message. Note End-users can create the custom list views by using the UI without needing the AddListItem permission.

  • When you try to upload a .wsp file that is not a SharePoint solution package to a document library in SharePoint Server 2010, you receive the following error message:

Unable to read cabinet info from.
