INTRODUCTION
This article describes that a country-specific update for the Norwegian Electronic Commerce Format (EHF) invoice and collection letter version 1.6 is available in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1), Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2.
More Information
On January 2, 2013, with amendments of January 14, 2013, DIFI - the Norwegian authority who is responsible for standards for electronic invoices in Norway released the new version of specification of invoice and credit note in EHF format version 1.6.
The following main changes in electronic documents are now supported in Microsoft Dynamics AX:

Changes in mandatory and optional identifiers according to new specification
-
Support for both positive and negative lines in invoice documents
-
Support for extended Norwegian profiles and customizations for invoice, credit note and collection letter
Together with updating XML structure of Norwegian electronic documents, support for embedded electronic invoice and credit note attachments is introduced.

Additional setup is required for using attachments. The solution uses the core Microsoft Dynamics AX Document Management functionality. The specifics for Norwegian electronic documents attachment management are as follows:

The File or URL attachment type is embedded into the eInvoice XML document instance when the attachment restriction is set to External and one of the following conditions is true:
-
The File attachments: must be group of document type File, and supported file locations: Archive directory, Database and Original location.
-
For URL attachments: must be group of document type either Note (AX 2009) or URL (AX 2012/AX 2012 R2).
-

Batch user must have access to attachments folders for the Archive directory or Original location location type.
-
Attachments in customer and project invoice journals can be added for eInvoice enabled customers for posted documents.

Note XSLT files must be copied either from unpacked hotfix folder (for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 SP1) or AOT\Resources (for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2) into folders that are used for the batch document processing.
Validation of the application hotfix installationTo validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
