Summary
This article describes the issues that are fixed in the Microsoft Outlook 2013 hotfix package that is dated June 10, 2014.
Introduction
Issues that this hotfix package fixes
-
Assume that you print an email message in Outlook 2013. When you cancel the print job, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:
There was an error when printing started. To check the printer setup, double-click the Printers icon in the Windows Control Panel.
-
The Status Bar shows "Disconnected" even though all connections are established.
-
The users can drag an email from Outlook to the file system (for example, the Desktop), even though you implement the DisableCopyToFileSystem registry value and type * in the Value Data field.
-
The Ctrl+Shift+R keyboard shortcut combination does not work after you disable the Reply All button by using Group Policy.
-
Assume that you use a non-Exchange account in Outlook 2013, and you have multiple calendar, contacts, or task folders. After you install Outlook 2013 Service Pack 1 (SP1), when you open or create a calendar, contacts, or task item, there is no "In Folder" or "In Shared Folder" line at the bottom of the item.
-
Consider the following scenario:
-
You have a second Outlook store (for example, a Personal Folders (.pst) file) in your Outlook profile.
-
You search for an Outlook item that is in the second store by using the All Outlook Items search scope.
In this scenario, you cannot retrieve the EntryID property of the Outlook item in the search result.
-
-
Assume that you have an Outlook.com email address set up in Microsoft Outlook 2013. You create a calendar item, and you set the Reminder to None. In this situation, Outlook.com does not recognize the None setting, and it still creates a Reminder of 15 minutes. However, if the Reminder is set to anything other than None, then the Reminder will sync correctly on Outlook.com.
Note You may also notice this behavior when you sync your calendar on a mobile device.
