Applies ToMicrosoft Outlook 2010

Summary

This article describes the issues that are fixed in the Microsoft Outlook 2010 hotfix package that is dated June 10, 2014.

Introduction

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Assume that you install the Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook. After you install the August 2013 cumulative update for Microsoft Outlook 2010, when you click the Appointment button on the CRM tab, CRM creates and saves a blank appointment to the calendar.

  • Assume that you print an email message in Outlook 2010. When you cancel the print job, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:

There was an error when printing started. To check the printer setup, double-click the Printers icon in the Windows Control Panel.

  • When you move the mouse pointer over a person's name or a contact card in an email message that is created by a "mailto" link in Outlook 2010, another compose email message appears.

  • When you add a user who has a certificate to contacts in Outlook 2010, Outlook may crash.

  • Outlook does not set the archive attribute when you save an attachment.

  • Assume that your administrator created a transport rule to generate a non-delivery report (NDR) for certain messages. The rule adds custom text to the NDR body that explains the reason for the rejection. When you receive such an NDR in Outlook 2010 in online mode and your mailbox is located on an Exchange Server 2013 server, the NDR does not display the custom body, but instead displays Outlook automatically generated content.
