Assume that you have an Excel workbook or template in the XLSTART folder. When you open an embedded workbook from another Office document, such as a PowerPoint presentation, Excel may crash or stop responding. Additionally, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:
The server application, source file, or item can't be found, or returned an unknown error. You may need to reinstall the server application.
If you then try to close Excel, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:
Cannot quit Microsoft Excel.
-
Assume that you enable the Content Organizer feature on a SharePoint site. You may be unable to save an Excel workbook to the SharePoint site from Excel 2013 if the URL of the document path is longer than 128 characters.
-
When you select the Chart Area in a chart on a chart sheet, the formula bar is not disabled. In this situation, when you type inside the formula bar and then you press an arrow key, the Home key, or the End key, Excel may crash.
