This hotfix also applies to Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Reporting Services (SSRS 2012) and SQL Server 2014 Reporting Services (SSRS 2014).
Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
-
You have a report in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services (SSRS 2008 R2), SSRS 2012, or SSRS 2014.
-
You set the report language to a language that uses a nonbreaking space as the thousands separator for numbers. For example, you set the report language to FR-CA.
-
You render the report, and then you use the search function on the report toolbar to search for some numeric data that contains nonbreaking spaces.
In this scenario, you receive the following error message:
The search text was not found.
Note The expected behavior is that you receive search results.
