Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have Master Data Services (MDS) for Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or SQL Server 2014 installed on a computer.

  • You open a web browser on a client computer, and then you open an MDS website.

  • The Format option in the Regional and Language dialog box on the client computer is set to an English locale other than "English (United States)." For example, the Format option is set to "English (Australia)." Additionally, the Short date option is set to "d/MM/yyyy."

In this scenario, the transaction date format on the View Transactions window on the MDS website is "M/DD/YYYY" instead of "d/MM/yyyy."
