Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You use Windows Internet Explorer 9, Internet Explorer 10, or Internet Explorer 11 to visit a webpage.

  • The webpage uses the deleteRow or deleteCell method to remove a row or a cell that was inserted by using the insertRow or insertCell method in an HTML table.

  • The webpage keeps repeating the previously mentioned operations.

In this scenario, the private bytes of Internet Explorer keep increasing. This may cause Internet Explorer to stop responding or to crash.
