This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics NAV for all countries and all language locales.
Introduction
Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2 introduces a new multitenancy database architecture which includes an improved internal structure for managing the relationship between NAV object metadata and SQL Server tables. This new structure requires strict consistency between NAV object metadata and SQL Server table and index definitions in order to avoid unexpected results.
This hotfix includes the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2 Database Check Tool which is a new command prompt utility (NavCheckDatabase.exe) which will check the consistency of the NAV object metadata compared to SQL Server table definitions and report any problems.More Information
