Symptoms

Assume that you use Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Integration Services (SSIS 2012) or SSIS 2014. You run an SSIS package that connects to Flat File Source, and one of the rows has less delimiters than the total number of columns. In this situation, the execution of the package hangs, and you receive the following error messages:

[FFS [2]] Error: Failed to get data for the error output buffer.[FFS [2]] Error: An error occurred while processing file "<File Path>\<File Name>.txt" on data row 2.[SSIS.Pipeline] Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_PRIMEOUTPUTFAILED. The PrimeOutput method on FFS returned error code 0xC0202092.
