Latest updates for versions of Office that use Windows Installer (MSI)

This article describes update KB3054936 for Microsoft OneNote 2013 that was released on July 14, 2015. This update also applies to Office Home and Student 2013 RT, and that contains OneNote 2013. This update has a prerequisite. Please be aware that the update in Download Center applies to Microsoft Installer (.msi)-based edition of Office 2013. It does not apply to the Office 2013 Click-to-Run editions such as Microsoft Office 365 Home. (How to determine?).

Improvements and fixes

Fixes the following issues:

  • When you use the Copy Link to Page, Copy Link to Section, or Copy Link to Notebook function to copy the link of a page, a section, or a notebook in a OneDrive folder in OneNote 2013, the link does not work, and you cannot open the link if the link contains a question mark "?."

  • Some hyperlinks to local files do not work as expected in a notebook in OneNote 2013.

  • When you insert a printout to a notebook in OneNote 2013, OneNote 2013 crashes. This issue occurs if OneNote 2013 has the Insert Long Printouts on Multiple Pages option and the Automatically Set Inserted Printouts to Background option enabled.
