Symptoms

Assume that you have two measure times, T1 and T2, and T2 is greater than T1. If you calculate (T2-T1) in many iterations, the results might be incorrect. For example, the results might be negative values.

Resolution

This problem was first fixed in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:

Cumulative Update 8 for SQL Server 2014 Service Pack 1 Cumulative update 6 for SQL Server 2012 SP3 Cumulative Update 3 for SQL Server 2016
