Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1) fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security updates that were included with the previous SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1) update release.
Symptoms
When you use the Globals.TotalPages variable to show the total number of pages in a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services report, the variable might return an incorrect value on the last page of the report.
For example, you use the following expression in the page footer of a report that has 12 pages to show the current page number and the total number of pages:
=Globals.PageNumber & " of " & Globals.TotalPagesIn this scenario, the page footer for the last page of the report has the following text for the current page number and for the total number of pages:
12 of 14
