Symptoms

An anonymous call to a Microsoft Skype for Business user doesn't contain the originating phone number (PAI) when the call is forwarded to another telephone user in Microsoft Skype for Business Server 2019 or 2015.

Resolution

To fix this issue, install the appropriate update for your version of Skype for Business Server:

More information

If the ForwardAnonymousCallGatewayPAI trunk configuration is set, and an incoming anonymous call is forwarded to a PSTN number, the incoming gateway PAI header value is copied into the PAI header of the outgoing PSTN call.

Notes

  • After you install this update, the EnablePAIPAssthrough parameter is changed to ForwardAnonymousCallGatewayPAI.

  • When you use ForwardAnonymousCallGatewayPAI, make sure that ForwardPAI is set to True.
