You can post to Viva Engage communities and users by email. If you reply by email to an email notification (about a post) from Viva Engage, your reply will post to Viva Engage.
You can also remove your email signature from the email you're posting to Viva Engage, before the email is sent.
Note: In the European Union, posting to Viva Engage by using email is only available for Microsoft 365-connected Viva Engage communities.
Post to Viva Engage by using email
There are different procedures for posting by email to Microsoft-365 connected Viva Engage communities vs. those that aren't connected Microsoft 365-connected.
Posting to Microsoft 365-connected Viva Engage communities
For Microsoft 365-connected Viva Engage communities, the email address of the Community that you're posting to should appear as follows:
communityname@network.com
For example, to post to the Safety Community at Contoso.com, you'd use the email address safety@contoso.com.
When posting by email to a Microsoft 365-connected Community, you'll receive an email confirmation regardless of whether your network admin enabled the option to Require all users in your network to confirm their messages posted via email before posting option in the email settings for your network.
Posting to Viva Engage communities that aren't Microsoft 365-connected
For Viva Engage communities that aren't Microsoft 365-connected, the email address of the Community that you're posting to should appear as follows:
communityname+networkname@engage.cloud.microsoft
For example, to post to the Security team at Contoso.com, you'd use the email address security+contoso.com@engage.cloud.microsoft.
You won't receive an email confirmation when posting by email to a Viva Engage Community that's not Microsoft 365-connected, regardless of whether your network admin enabled the option to Require all users in your network to confirm their messages posted via email before posting option in the email settings for your network.
Tips:

If there are spaces or punctuation marks in the Viva Engage Community name, don't include them in the email address. For example, if you're emailing a Contoso Marketing Team that's using a Viva Engage domain of Contoso.com, use the email address marketingteam+contoso.com@engage.cloud.microsoft.

To make sure you get the email address correct, look up the Viva Engage Community's email address by going to their Viva Engage home page, select the More Options icon, and then select Post by email to see their email address.
Post or forward a message to a Viva Engage user by using email
The email address of the Viva Engage user that you're posting should appear as follows:
first_part_of_user's_Yammer_email_address+networkname@engage.cloud.microsoft
For example, to post to Viva Engage user LisaG@Contoso.com, you'd use the email address lisag+contoso.com@engage.cloud.microsoft.
Remove your email signature from an email you're posting to Viva Engage
To remove your email signature when using email to post to Viva Engage, on a separate line before your signature add two hyphens as follows:
Here is my message.

My Phone Number
Viva Engage will ignore any text after the two hyphens. Your email will appear in Viva Engage as follows:
Here is my message.
Note: Any image in your signature will still be posted because Viva Engage views an image as an attachment to the message.
