  • The SetFileIoOverlappedRange function is called when another I/O operation is using the memory range that is specified in the SetFileIoOverlappedRange function.For example, you create a new database in SQL Server, and you enable the Lock Pages in Memory permission in the database.

In this scenario, data corruption occurs in the first byte of a memory page in the specified memory range.
