Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have a computer that is running Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2.

  • You have an application that uses a windowless rich edit control for text printing, and that specifically uses the Windows TxGetNaturalSize API.

  • You use the application to print certain content.

In this scenario, the printing output is not as expected. Specifically, the bound rectangle is very small, and the text is truncated.

Resolution
