Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You have a computer that is running Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, or Windows Server 2012 R2.

You have installed update rollup 2883200 on the computer.

You copy or paste network information in Network in PC Settings.
In this scenario, the icons or tiles on the Start screen freeze.

Cause
This issue occurs because of a regression in update rollup 2883200. This regression causes the unexpected freeze.
Resolution
Update information

Workaround
To work around this issue, log off and then log on to the computer.
