Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have a computer that is running Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, or Windows Server 2012 R2.

  • You have installed update rollup 2883200 on the computer.

  • You copy or paste network information in Network in PC Settings.

Cause

This issue occurs because of a regression in update rollup 2883200. This regression causes the unexpected freeze.

Resolution

Workaround
