Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You change the display language to Arabic (Saudi Arabia) on a computer that is running Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, or Windows Server 2012 R2.

  • You restart the computer, and then you disable all Internet connections.

  • You try to run the Windows Store.

In this scenario, the Windows Store exits immediately.Note The Windows Store should show an error page when you run the Windows Store without an Internet connection.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the November 2014 update rollup for Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2.
