FIX: Error message when you run a website that executes the Advertising pipeline on a server that is running Commerce Server 2007 or Commerce Server 2009: "HttpContext.Current is null"Article ID: 2319603 - View products that this article applies to. On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen you run a website that executes the Advertising pipeline on a server that is running Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 or Microsoft Commerce Server 2009, you receive an error message that resembles the following: HttpContext.Current is null from Commerce.CSFLoadHistory.1 Additionally, an event that resembles the following is logged in the Application log: Log Name: Application CAUSEThis problem occurs because the LoadHistory, SaveHistory, and IISAppendToLog components check ASP.NET context. However, it is not necessary for these components to check ASP.NET context, and in some scenarios, this check may cause issues. The Advertising pipeline includes these three components. Therefore, this problem occurs. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, apply this hotfix to the server that is running Commerce Server 2007 or Commerce Server 2009. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
