On This PageSYMPTOMSIn a Microsoft Host Integration Server environment, you may notice that the Transaction Integrator (TI) Designer cannot recognize data structures from a COBOL copybook. For example, you create a TI project and then import a COBOL copybook. In the Import COBOL Wizard, you select the DFHCOMARE parameters and leave all other parameters as default values. Then, you click Next to view the results. In this scenario, you find that the data structures are not recognized correctly and that you have to manually edit all the data values in the wizard. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.If the hotfix is available for download, there is a "Hotfix download available" section at the top of this Knowledge Base article.
