INTRODUCTION
Issues that this hotfix package fixes
Issue 1
Consider the following scenario:
-
You create a new enterprise calendar or edit an existing enterprise calendar in Project Web Access (PWA).
-
You add two exceptions on or after the 28th of the same month.
-
You set the recurrence pattern to Yearly or Monthly for both the exceptions.
-
You try to save the enterprise calendar.
In this scenario, you receive the following error message:
The operation could not be performed as it requires Microsoft Office Project Professional 2007. Make sure that Project is installed on this machine and that a profile to this server exists. If Project is currently running, ensure that it is logged on to this server and that there is no dialog open.
Note To resolve this issue, you must apply the hotfix packages that are described in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article 2449502 and in this KB article.
Issue 2
Consider the following scenario:
-
You create a project plan and assign several resources to various tasks in Office Project 2007.
-
You log on to an account that has permission to view the data for some, but not all, of the resources.
-
You open the project plan, and then you select the Resource Usage view.
-
You try to view the summary resource assignment data under the Other projects and commitments section for all the resources that you have permission to view.
In this scenario, the data for some resources that you have permission to view may not be displayed.
